My name is Dr. Murphy, the very proud principal of Marana Middle School. I am honored to work with an amazing staff that diligently helps our students achieve their individual goals.
I am a product of this community and amazing district. I began my education in the Marana Unified School District at Thornydale Elementary at the age of six. I later attended Tortolita Junior High and graduated from Marana High School with honors. Upon graduation, I attended the University of Arizona where I received a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership. My love for the Marana Unified School District drew me back to Marana High School where I taught Chemistry, Science and Mathematics for six years before becoming the Associate Principal for three years.
I encourage each parent to become actively involved in their student’s education and become a volunteer at Marana Middle School. Please contact if you would like this opportunity.
If you have any concern regarding your child’s education at MMS please contact me.
Your partner in education,
Allison Murphy
